As above thinking of getting some of these rods while my engine is apart....anyone using them? or know what the quality of them is like?

get rid of revolving mass and they rev quicker and boost earlier so its all good

theyre made of the same material as eagle rods and look identical to eagle/farndon rods to me... other than that i got nowt more to say, lol

These cheap rods concern me tbh, if you want to build a engine hanging 9k+ then buy some Farndon or Arrow rods, I've used similar stuff to those in the auction but I'd never put them in a engine I value.

Stock rods will take 8500k iirc

I know standard rods are strong but just thought these would be stronger and would be better at coping with high rpm.....

the end of the day the standard rods are still made from a softer material than these...

Whats high rpm though mate ?

I doubt your going to be revving a YB anywhere near where they would a atmo engine

At 8500+ I would want to be on arrows not cheap shit.

If given the choice between cheapy unknown chinese rods and standard cossie ones, I would pick standard cossie ones personally.

I can understand people using them (like james with his vauxhall engine) in an engine with SHIT rods as standard, but not in a YB at all to be honest!
