Default Amsterdam..where to go etc
i,m off to amsterdam in a bit for the weekend
so who knows the best places to go and see ,
i know the obvious
and were going to watch ajax play on the sunday
any ideas

Apart frmo the obvious places - head over to dam square, and go to the right hand corner past the church if you're walking frmo the Red Light district.

Get a tram to Leidsplein for a night out Pretty decent place, few little clubs and quite a few bars.

Bubblez just off the square and up by McDonalds is a right laugh - and FULL of minge.

I have a mate called Tony who runs the british bar on the corner ofDam square

Also go to Barneys for breakfast, and coffee breaks

Lot's of clubs and music like Panama,Melkweg,Paradis,HMH (Heineken Music Hall) Escape,The Powerzone etc
Pub i prefer Excalibur at the Red Light District or Old Sailor but there are also some small pubs with Belgian Beers but you've to search well for these

For sightseeing offcourse Arena,red light district,Rembrandtsplein,Museumplein,Leidseplein,H erengracht and De Jordaan is a typical Amsterdam neighborhood with nice pubs and people

If Ajax becomes champion it will be celebrated at the canals,so party in all the city hopefully no riots afterwards
