Default Brake Pads - help!

Right - tried to purchase some brake pads for my Mondeo Mk3 calipers - Mintex Xtreme..

got an email saying they don't make em anymore.

As far as I'm aware Mintex don't make M1144s or 1155s for these calipers.

Ferodo also don't make any decent ones.

Which leaves me left with Black Diamond/EBC/Tarox

Anyone have any ideas on which to pick? I'd love a set of decent mintex but can't find em anyway. And after a few laps these brakes seem to fade badly.

New lines are being made to fit soon, got some Motul brake fluid on the way - Discs are fine, it's just the pads I'm struggling with.....

i use the EBC greenstuff on mk3 calipers and they are really good. i would say mintex extreme give a bit sharper braking though (i've got them on my other car)

the pads should be the same fitment as focus ST170 and fiesta ST.

have you tried ebay?

Yeah can't see anything on ebay.

The pads are different fitment with ST170 and 150.

I wish they were the same, can get a decent set up for 170 calipers.

Greenstuff is CRAP, see if you can get REDSTUFF CERAMIC, or even better YELLOWSTUFF.
I tried to speak to bart earlier today, but he is away and ebc are about to lose thier electric(roadworks!!).
I have greenstuff in a astra 1.4 auto and they fade nearly everyday, also got them in a mk1 mondy, and they just are not up to it.
They are currently on V7 formula, V4 was ace but 7 is a joke, reds/yellows are 1000 times better even from cold, just a bit dustier that's all.

No.

you can get them for the Mk2 mondeo not the MK3.

Which is a shame! As I thought there would be "some" performance brake pads for the ST220!

Fit the stock ST220 pads. Brakes are plenty big enough for a light fiesta anyway......even if you're a fat bastard!!!

I think the pads are all the same through out the range?

Anyway - suffer massive fade problems on track - there is such little room between the wheels I don't think pads are upto the job...

I've got fluid and some new lines so that may cure it. Could do with new pads though.
