What have you got, where you get it and have you any pics of the ehat shield and your bay?

I'd imagine you all have had them made as one offs from that metal crinkly stuff?

I do this material, it's not cheap though!
Nimbus GII
615 x 600 = Ł43.81 + del
1200 x 615 = Ł87.64 + del
1230 x 1200 = Ł166.93 + del

It's alloy, so it "could" be anodised, but the anodising won't take the heat I don't think.

making it black would defeat the object somewhat - it would absorb the heat from the exhaust side rather than reflecting it

I would go for the Cirrus GIIX personally, as this is what it was made for .

Obviously this is to protect the brake reservoir and abs pump etc but what about stopping the bonnet from melting? Use the reflective sticky back stuff?

I am not sure of the material you guys are talking about but years ago we powder coated the tin/fibre type exhaust heat shields on Peugeot 106 GTi's and they never used to dis-colour or melt in any way...... they were bolted directly to the manifold so would assume the heat was pretty extreme. Everyone told us it wouldn't work including the coater....

Might be worth a try Paul

If you had kept your strut brace, you could have done these (pop rivetted to the brace ).

My bonnet heatshield is modified to prevent bonnet getting hot.
