Thanks, just put it on. Thing is unless it's over here at Wembley or another big stadium over here then there is no point. I can't see him winning over there at Vegas or whatever. We get bigger crowds so should have it here and get their tv people and ours and it would be massive.

hatton said he lost his head at around the 6th cos of the ref.
And to be honest NOBODY who know's about boxing can say that hatton didnt cause mayweather some right grief upto the 6th.
The ref was shit and hatton lost, BUT given a different ref hatton would of done him.
People under estimate him and his ability's, he is the only fighter out there at present who could ko mayweather. Lb for lb or not.

i would love to agree with you,wanted hatton to win so much BUT mayweather is too classy and big for him.

Hatton lost his head against Mayweather, thus leading to him making mistakes and getting beat, it was plain to see as the fight went on. If Hatton would have kept his cool then I think the result may have been diffrent, but its no so meh ....
If Hatton gets Mayweather again, It will be on our side of the pond, Wembley looking favorite.

this is a warm up fight for Mayweather VS Hoya, Rematch witch is in september. with will be a mint fight again.

Ricky wants mayweather again 4 another lump sum, so he can get on with promoting.

hatton is not a fool.if he didnt think he could beat him i dont think he would entertain a rematch.

you just cant help but wonder how the fight would have gone had hatton been allowed to fight with the refs constant interruptions,whch clearly made him lose his head,and his game plan went out of the window.

however there is no taking anything away from how good mayweather is.

Hatton is a great fighter but Mayweather just has the edge IMO. Hatton can train for another 6 months for a rematch BUT Mayweather will also be training for 6 months and improving.

Tough one really, however I do agree with the above comment, Hatton would not entertain a rematch unless he believed he could win.

But in boxing u can get pummeld 4 11 rounds, but it only takes 1 punch to land flush. so anyone always has a chance.

Mayweather is a better boxer, his biggest assit is how good is defensce is, no one lands many punches against him.

Ricky hatton always has the punchers chance against any fighter, hatton will need to get in close to do damage against Mayweather. Floyd is the better boxer without doubt, but hatton can and should fight him again. Perhapss the fight will be a light welter this time, we dont know the details yet.

in my eyes the ref ruined the first 6 rounds of the fight and made it very frustrating for hatton-mayweather was awesome and did exactly what he needed to-but the ref was definately more help to him than ricky.
im sure hatton needs to know just what would happen early in the fight without the ref's constant interventions-wether he gets beaten earlier or beats him,its a question that needs to be answered..........
just think,a couple of well addressed body shots at full power that rock mayweather.........its certainly not impossible.

OK Angelo, you seem to know everything there is to know about boxing! Remember that other people see things differently, your opinion is not the only one that counts!

You can get hammered even surviving for 12 rounds. A 12-0 or 11-1 is a heavy heavy loss. Fighters can be brave, bordering on stupid, when they hang in after taking a heavy beating.

Hatton will lose to Mayweather again if they meet, regardless of the ref or the venue, he's too good.
De La Hoya would beat Hatton i think, definitely would have in his prime. He can soak up an amazing amount of punishment then just switch it on and take the opponent apart.

Look forward to seeing De La Hoya vs Mayweather again. The result of that will dictate whether or not we see Mayweather vs Hatton II.

As you say it's a MASSIVE loss but it dont mean he's been hammered.

It's all down to the context of how it's stated.
If i hear a fighter has been hammered then i would be very very suprised to hear it went to point's, wouldnt you?

As you also said people take and percieve thing's different but i think if a fighter has made it through 12 round's then nobody can say he got hammered, as it went to point's.
