A know where there's Mk1 & 2 Rs2000 lying. The guy might have had them from new, only seen the mk1 a few times but still has it. And the mk2 is in the drive rotting never moved in about 17 year

I've heard of an ultra low mile RS 1600/i over here thats been hidden away. It is owned by an ex ford director of that era. I can't remember the exact story, but i think the son is a customer of my dads and somehow my cossie came up in conversation, which led to the rs 1600/i story.....

I wish i knew if it was a 1600 or a 1600i!

l live on a housing estate and these a few round here. Used to be a mk1 escort shell but the guy swaped it for a mk3 golf, an xr4x4, an old 50s/60s yank thing and a mg meastro (sp) turbo. There are things about just have to look Never know might find something like this.

A bloke near me has got a Mk2 RS2000 in brown, owned since new and always been a weekend toy, summin like 20,000 miles. In about 15 years Ive seen it about 3 times.

Also a farmer had a MK1 2 door Escort that his mother had new, only took it off the road about 5 years back when she died. Found out recently that he scrapped it about 12 months back! That was low milage aswell!

My 3dr was a kinda barn find.
Dry stored for 9 years, the owner takes it out to our local car show and sticks up For Sale signs, to which I had to take it.

My neighbour has a 1920's tractor underneath rubbish, if that counts too.

There's an S1 RS turbo 1/2 a mlie from my house, been sitting in the driveway for atleast 6 years, looks pretty clean tho. I knew of another one, that sat for almost 10 years, fortunately I told someone about it and they managed to get it for cheap, ended up breaking it tho.

i know of a lotus cortina sitting in a barn,its been in there for nearly 20 years! the guy is about 50 who owns it and says he will get it up to scratch and out when he retires.
