Default cvh head oil seals anyone???

can you do the oil seals on a cvh head without taking the head off ?? Also as its a zvh with 250 bhp and a stage 3 head should they be uprated or are standard seals ok?

oil has just splurted out of the head near the pully, but i have noticed that the oil cap has a rubber seal in it, should this be able to breathe, and is this why the oil has splurted out due to oil pressure building up in the head and the only way out is through the cam seal???

Are you talking valve stem oil seals... if its a CVH then its an easy fix without having to take the head off. Just get a valve stem tool and its as easy as that.

Oh yeah as said above about the screw driver, make sure piston is up on the one your working on or the valve could drop into block

I did that, had to get a taxi to the dealer to get a spare. 50p collect cost me £30. Collet stayed in the sump no probs for about 5k miles more before I rebuilt it.
