Default Lambda Sensor Thread Size

Anyone know what it is?

Want to get my turbo housing redrilled as the lambda hole has been welded up, so need to let the machine shop know what size to drill it too.

cheers

there's 2 sizes - i believe that those fitted to the turbo are the smaller of the 2 (12 x 1.25mm, not 18mm that the wideband normally are) but you should check this as i am not 100% sure

The narrow band is M12, the wide band is M18, check my website for prices . Properly machined items with recess to aid location etc .

just thought i would check something, and indeed i was right, where the lambda boss, are situated on the escort exhaust housing the sensor would foul on the head due to the 2wd manifold and the angle it put the housing at. bugger.

oh well least i found that out before i had the housing drilled.

guess its gotta be a boss welded on the downpipe then, will get the car running and then drive the car somewhere to have the boss welded on rather than start taking bits off again

That's how mine was done Ryan, make sure you leave any heatshield's and strut brace's etc off to make it easier for them!

Fit 18mm, that way you can run either a narrowband or a wideband in it.
