Default Price of fuel

Our gas (petrol) prices have just gone through the roof now at 55 pence a litre here in Canada. As there seems to be a good cross section of peeps on this forum from all around the world post up the price in your country in British pence.

I never thought i'd see the day when Super Plus was cheaper than normal unleaded and diesel

Today was that day....

At my local Esso:

Super+ £1.09 per litre
Unleaded £1.10 per litre
Diesel £1.11 per litre

101-126 pence here for 95 RON (changes daily, sometimes several times a day)
+3 pence for 98 RON and V-Power.
Diesel is usually a bit cheaper.

theres loads of it left, dont believe those carbon footprint dodgers.

just look how much america use, with all their V8's, not to mention the war in iraq at the mo, all those tanks planes.

and think about how much we use in airtravel. theres no way all these airports and the government would keep expanding the way that have if they knew it was running out. just look at how many billions theyve spent on Stansted the last 5 years!

how can it be regardless of government, when they set the tax duty on it? and they are screwing us good and proper!

Crewe Cheshire

Tesco: Diesel 115.9 , Unleaded 112.9, Super(99 octane) 112.9

Shell : Diesel 115.9, Unleaded 114.9, V Power 120.9

Disgusting, im putting £40 a month in my golf 1.9 tdi doing 27 miles a day to work and my cossie when i bring it out will cost me an extra £25 per tank from last August, as said earlier in the thread i guarantee my wages wont go up in my annual review at the end of this month.

105.9p for normal petrol from morrisons,
112p for diesel from morrisons.

Bp is about 2-3p dearer. lpg from there is 55.4p a litre.

Good to see the taxes from the fuel are going to fix all the pot holes that are appearing on my local roads after stevie wonder and ray charles turned into a road repair duo!!

oh wait..............

mate even cherryades gone up to almost 60p. and now vosa demand invoices from the fuel suppliers, and will just turn up at your house if they thing somethings up, and dip every tank for it! happened to my mate, he was using it for his mini diggers and plant. but makes you think twice.

veg oils ok. 2500 liters a year tax free i think?
