im looking for the cheapest place for a new varley red top 30 battery and new varley red top 30 bracket to go with it,

cheapest so far is ebay for the battery @ £166.00 delivered

but only place i can find who sells the brackets is demon tweeks @ £37.60 + delivery.

anybody know of cheaper?

yeah rally design is cheapest for the battery but they dont stock the new battery holders so may just phone them 2moro about supplying 1

i would imagine they could supply - if they distribute the batteries chances are they can et the holder for it.

OOC - for you varley types. Have you found varley batteries to die when used with a solar panel trickle charger? I had one die after about 2 years and not sure if its the charger or something else - like a duff battery. It did sit unused for 12 months wilst my car was being rebuilt (took longer than expected due to turbo failure :-( )
