Well I finally got my Zetec Turbo dyno'd today....
Following a few pictures being posted up of my S2 a few months ago I just thought I would let you people know how we got on today @ SCS with Harvey and Ahmed at the controls.....
536.6BHP and 401 lbft of torque. Shame was it was still making power but we maxed out the 8 injectors so that was it!
I must say, I have had worse days!!

As far as I know (and I am sure I will be corrected) its the most powerful zetec, certainly as far as Ahmed, Harvey and Ian Howell are concerned.
The VERY basic spec is a Area Six engine, built by me, T61 turbo, tubular exhaust, area six inlet with 8 injectors running Pectal T6 motorsport 2000 ECU.
I am a very happy man, and will be departing to enjoy champagne, cigars and dancing girls very shortly.

Also many thanks to Harvey Gibbs, Ian Howell and Ahmed bayoo for all their help. I cannot recommend their services enough.
Also a VERY big thanks to Engine Dave AKA Davey8oy for getting up at the crack of dawn, sorting the transport and being an all round total fookin star! Cheers Fella!

Cheers,
Davey8oy will post some pics up tomorrow.
Keep your eyes peeled in Performance Ford for a more detailed coverage of the build.

Cheers Doug
33 psi smidge over 7000RPM and on hydraulic lifters.
Just gutted we ran out of fuel!
At 1 bar and 5000rpm it was making 380bhp so very chuffed.

It been that long I cant remeber the exact specs without getting my black and red out.
Was meant to be enough for 620bhp but after a slap round the back of the head and a detailed explanation from Ahmed, it appears a few calculation errors were made. They were imported from the states and are a funny design but apparently great for low down response and emmisions.

ollies rst runs figures just under ratboys, he has stage 2+ boxes, but he did tell me they dont last, just a case of keep replacing them when they go.

I bet it cost more than the equivalent power yb to do!!
and how many 550bhp+ yb's have there been, literally hundreds i'd guess, this is the ONLY 530bhp+ zetec.
fantastic job all round btw....

Well done Dan!
That's the only time I've ever known you to be so quiet for so long! lol
Made awesome power in the end, and the good thing is it looks like there is more there if you want it... personally, I think that's more than more than enough for a FWD RS Turbo!
Best thing, after all the hassle it's been worth it!
Thanks also for the tea to SCS!
