Default Help Connecting PS3 Wirelessly?

Hi all,

Trying to get my PS3 hooked upto my Sky broadband wirelessly, I put in what I think is my WPA (no errors or anything came back) but when it tests for the connection, it comes back as failed?

Cheers

I had a similar problem which was solved by resetting the SKY(Netgear) router.
This is done simply by inserting a pin in hole at the back of the router. Holding it in untill the router resets(im sure the lights change, all go out).
Worth a try if you havent already!

Does any other hardware connect wirelessly ? If so then it's a simple setting issue. Doing the above will completely wipe everything off the router so you'll need to re-access it and re-do the wireless settings etc

Did you use the WPA key from the bottom of the router?? (Just making sure lol) Try unplugging the router and plugging back in.

Thanks for the replies guys.

I don't think I have anything else to connect to the PS3 wirelessly so can't answer that one.

The WPA I used was the one from the card Sky gave (same as bottom of router)

When during the setup period should I reset the router?

Thanks again!

Connect it to a pc first, then set the router up and give it your own wireless settings and try that
