Default Quick Favour - Pricing on '93 beemer (parkers guide?)

sum1 asked me to find out a value of their car for their insurance company (lazy gits)

1993 BMW 320i SE 4dr Saloon (L Reg)

its not in the parkers guide book coz it only goes to '95 and on the website they want £2.99 to show the price... lol

anyone got an old copy of parkers guide or glasses guide handy?

or do you work in the motortrade and know how much they worth?

tis just for a general "how much is the car worth" section of the insurance, nothing concrete

You're far better looking on Autotrader, and taking an average.

Parkers can be so far out at times, it's untrue, and our subscription to CAP ran out a year ago.

Most guides are sh!t, but then they are just that, "guides". If I could buy escort cosworths for what it says in the glasses guide I'd have a warehouse full of them. I'd LOVE to know where they get some of the prices from.

For a value on insurance I'd put down £3000.

3k fook off for a L reg 320 - NO WAY.

My mate just bought the same car but on a J reg for 800 quid and it sounds fookin sweet

I would say about 1500-2k for a L reg if i was buying.

If selling i personally think you will struggle to get 3k for a L reg 320.
