Default How Muth To Fit !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Put my car in to a so called tuner to get some bit,s and pieces done,as im a bit lazy,and i thought this was the easy option to get car on the road (3dr cosworth ) one of the jobs was to fit a rear strut brace,that i had bought from danny b ,the 3 point one's,well guess how much time the garage invoiced me for fitting said item ?

would take a fair while that i would imagine, from a garage that is as th engine would have to come out too just to bump up the labour charge lol

These are the ones that bolt into the boot floor aren't they? as well as the struts?

Lee you tosser,well i fitted on to my mates saff a couple of months ago,and took 20 to 30 mins, got my invoice and it,s for 260 minuites, must be some slowtech's working with for this guy ,

fit afr guage 180 mins

now i thought they were both included in same job

Found the job lists -
Wire up and fix twin fans 20mins
Flush cooling system and refill 30mins
Change oil and filter 20mins
Fit door cards (RH will not fit)130mins (only asked to fit o/s rest all ready fitted ?)
Repair split cooling hose 30mins
Fit new sparkplugs 10mins
Fit L8 130mins
Convert TB for Anti Lag 180mins (msd take £45 ish )
Engine will not switch off 240mins (couldnt find fault )
Fit new TPS 20mins
Weld on lambda boss fitting 60mins
Mount rad and intercooler 140mins
Fix and adjust exhaust 240mins
Change lower arms and ball joints 150mins
Check and adjust wheel base 50mins
Front toe 30mins
Weld and fix driver seat mounts 200mins
Roll cage fitting 240mins
Repair floor around roll cage 120mins
Repair floor around chassis number 180mins
bleed brakes (3 times) 180mins
Fit rear strut brace 260mins
Fit front strut brace 90mins
Turbo heatshield to fit 180mins
Fit amal valve
Fit dump valve blank
Fit line lock 180mins

Neil it was a 4x4 going on a 2WD but even so,welding is realy bad,will post pic,s up tomorrow,makes it worse that i can do it all my self,but this guy talked the talk and led me to believe in him,and offered me a very good discounted labour rate,that pissed off,i started stripping car today,see flint gray saff in picture post

then, when we've digested what they may or may not have tried to extort from you, you can put p a name and shame list

at least is osmeone from said compnay is reading they can do a damage limitation job, assuming they are reading?

Customer relations back up are poor,

Damage limitation ,mmmmmm well sure the tax man ,local council and trading standards would stop that happening

also quoted my mate £250 to set boost,check afr and egt on his t34 cossie

4 hours fix/adjust exhaust, did they make a new one?
More than 2 hours to fit a doorcard
Why did they need to bleed the brakes 3 times? Amateurs?
