Adjustable beams?
So who makes adjustable beams these days and how much are they?
It just Adrenaline? If so how much do they charge?
When set up do they improve handling that much???

std power! Mike is probably the best one to answer this but my understanding is that ford did a pretty bad job of the rear suspension geometry as std and the 6° rear beam goes some way to solving this

its not down to how much power you have to wether or not you will need one.
they align everything better at the rear end, alot of people say its the best mod you can do in regards to handeling, just as important as planning on fitting a decent coilover or shock setup.

Would make a good addition to any car, regardless of power, and will make it much nicer to drive and far more predictble, and make it handle a lot better.
I paid Ł935 for my stage 2 adjustable Adrenaline beam, fantastic build quality and quick turn around, and very sturdy 7/8"th rose joints, I havn't driven my car with it fitted yet, but anyone who has one will tell you it transforms the car...
Personally Adrenaline is the only company I would use, Zoo- no way, and I have heard ahmed does a good rear beam as well? Or there is the group A items but they need a complete group A rear end I belive, and are only 9 degrees not the optimum 6 degrees....

Ben, i think a few of Brom's beams setups were not quite as perfect as they should be - there didnt seem to be any consistency in one beam to the next.
if you got a perfect one then thats pukka as you will certainly reap the benefits.
but some people have found that you could adjust the level of camber alot greater on one side than on the other.
im certainly not complaining as mine is also one of Brom's beams, its first class and been checked to see that it genunly is a true 6 degree beam etc and it came out spot on

how did you have your beam checked to see that it genunly is a true 6 degree beam?
had mine setup at autotest where mike gets his geometry setup a few weeks back when we was at snetterton..

I can definately recommend Danny from Adrenaline. He will go out of the way and doesn't mind dealing with customers overseas. (unlike a few which put us in the too hard basket!)

I have a full ZOO beam setup including jag diff and upgraded prop shaft and drive shafts. I am having LOTS of problems and i wish i hadn't bothered to be honest. Thinking of removing the whole lot and chucking it in a fucking skip. Rant over.

Snap! Having the samee probs with cols car. Supposedly fresh built jag ltd slipper diff has turned into an open diff after 1500 miles.
Always worried about that beam since we first fitted it. It had two spacers on one driveshaft and one on the other. For no apparent reason.

and it wasnt Mike that directly told me that, although he has passed comment on them in a similar way during conversation in the past!
not had it setup, seems kind of pointless having a suspension setup when the car isnt at full weight yet! (ie, no engine, box, diff's and interior!!)

Mine was so badly setup from Zoo when i got it for camber etc that i had it professionally done and the croc of shit wouldn't even adjust enough to be setup correctly. Whats the point of that then? An adjustable beam that that only adjusts to bad setting. FFS. Oh yes and my car now has lots of noise and vibrations anything over 65mph despite altering it from SOLID mount to being rubber bushed. Waste of time and cash.
