...not forgetting its auto and a 5 seater (although it has amg speedshift for manual steering wheel shift its still essensially a full 5 speed auto!) its a car i cant see myself selling as it does everything....once used to the power i am goin for pulley change an instant 50bhp then with a remap another 20bhp...a less restrictive exhaust adds a bit too...so around 580bhp is very easy to get...its said you can get upto 700bhp out of em ....can already nudge 200mph std!

Bikes aint all that , most of the time they struggle to beat a decent motor round a track and up the strip UNLESS the bike has a shit hot G.P. rider on board .

RD500 is defo a bike I want....Ridden a RG500 a few times many moons ago and wasnt impressed compared to the RD tbh. Would have another 350YPVS but for what they are they are getting too expensive for sommot decent now. Mine was a LC2 and I sold it for £600 around 10yr ago and it was a minter

With used to have a coffin shape tank RD400 (think it was a 4) to rag around the local fields when I was younger...that makes me sound old Also had a mate who owned a RG500 import (400cc) same time that I had the 350. 2 strokes are good toys but about as reliable as a stg3 cossie built by a pikey in his garden shed, especialy the RD500 with its hotter than hot cylinder (remind me which one was the trouble maker cylinder, cant remember?) waiting to seize

Yeah my RD350valver was premix due to a previous seizure...cure the seizing up but then whilst out for a blast to Matlock with Jamie Whitham's then mechanic (he was racing for autorama I think at the time...back around 1998/9?) the crank went for the second time that i'd owned the bike...which was the final straw...went out and bought a Gixxer that I still own!

The new R1 will do a 10sec quarter so Phil or anybody else will be better off at the higher speed- over 150MH, I got matched by a new 3series on my `99 750GSXR at around 150+, embarassing for me really. My bike clearly struggled with aerodynamics as it was pinned.

It's obvious that you're talking about illegal speeds on a road, so why bother trying to cover it up so lamely?
just bad punctuation mate, got the asterix mixed up with the space bar,

how it should have read:

...amg Vs an 07 R1 from 7 mph to 16 mph...bike pulls away to 13 then i close to up chuffer by 15 mph then being held up,boy was he surprised All on a test track.

I agree.

FYI a stock 07 R1 has been clocked by the 200mph club at a genuine 188mph up woodbridge airfield.
