Take a look guys, if you've think the government is ripping us off left, right and centre,
you're in the right place to do something about it! Particularly, right now, fuel prices,
are the main agenda.

It's not just the fuel duty, it is the whole "the car is evil" brigade that gets right up my fucking nose. It is a statistical fact that all the cars in the entire world contribute to less than 1% of the gasses that are alleged to cause the greenhouse effect. Therefore actually removing EVERY single car from the planet will have FUCK ALL EFFECT - so imagine the infitesimal effect our government's effect on penalising the UK motorist is going to have 0.01% - whoopsy-fucking do - TARGET THE REAL CULPRITS - INDUSTRY ET AL - WANKERS!

Given this, can someone please provide an environmental reason (other than eventually we will run out of oil), as to why car drivers are penalised so much - instead of addressing the other 99.x% of the REAL issue?

I'll tell you why - because the gorvernment is using everyone's fear of the "end of the world" to squeeze as much cash out of them as possible - and to what end? It's certainly not being invested in green issues - it is just going against this governments huge spending debt . I fucking HATE this government, along with all the stupid green twats that think making the motorists live's a misery will have ANY effect what-so-ever on the climate changes . It's just a money making band-wagon you stupid fucking twats!

And breath......

Have you guys registered, or taken a look? Please do if you haven't. If enough people tell enough people about the one site, we CAN make the govt listen to us.

The problem is where a moral, diplomatic, peaceful attempt becomes an 'incident' to the police.

There are people from other motoring websites already involved in this site. Disappointed the membership hasn't risen quicker, but I've shared the site with facebookers, and this site.

I agree with what you all said, feel free to use my sig to link to it. Lets try and make a difference!

How does that make sense? Fuel price won't keep crap cars off the road.

LEE-RS - very true mate, but the country hasn't got the balls. As Paul said, people will just moan about it and do fuckall. I'm all for it, let me know when we're coming to a halt so i can have a lay in

Unfortunately the price of so many things will rise when fuel hits Ł1.50 a litre! The haulage industry will be hit, which delivers to the supermarkets. So alongside the hike in fag and alcohol prices, the fuel tax is gonna add to the price of them too!

That is so true, this governments answer to everything is to stick a tax on it so no one can afford to do it anymore, be it driving a "gas guzzling" car that does over 30mph or binge drinking or whatever.
Its getting beyond a joke now and something needs to be done about it.

fook the petition, when are we all taking a week off?????? would that make a difference?

agree with mike 100% too. also the fact that you drive a "gas guzler"i.e anything thats more than a 1.0l means you already pay more than most to drive by way off fuel duty ,the Ł1000 road tax is an insult to hard workers that can afford a nice car.

The French seem to be able to hold a good strike look at the port blockades and what not, the great has gone out of Britain. Our lovely goverment keep helping the families on the bread line with nice handouts, these will be the people who will vote them back into power come the next election and What qualifications does Mr Darling have? road minister one minute now chancellor it amazes me.

Have you ever known the govt to listen to a petition? Things need to be organised to make the people of the country sit up and realise that united we can make a difference. Then the organisation of crippling the government, and making them look the ass that they are! Perhaps by legally blocking a fairly major artery to the country?

I think its quite entertaining when people go on about the budget, tax this that etc. However, when it comes to election time, how many of you actually go and vote?? I seem to remember a thread a while back where most were saying 'can't see the point in voting it doesn't make a difference'. If you don't vote, you don't count to the democratic system we aparently live in.
Whether Labour wins again or the tories get the chance to privatise more of great britain next time round is down to whether you stick an X on a ballot paper in 12-18 months time, not blockade a fuel dump or sign a petition. The fuel blockades the other year made a difference for about 8 months. Now look at the fuel prices, 20+p a litre more than it was then and we still paying it.

i've an idea for the government to lower taxes for the rest of us. how about getting their arses in gear and getting all the idle fuckers on the dole working again, plenty of jobs. if they won't work stop their fucking dole. immigrants - if they want to work and contribute then fine, if not fuck them off back where they came from. prisoners - instead of leaving them in their cells wanking off and playing on their ps3's get them doing some work to pay for their keep. that lot should free up a few quid. we are getting our wallets raped to pay for all the idle cunts.

if this country sent its immigrents home like thier countries would do to us, they wouldnt be working illegally, on benifits etc and there would be less cars on the road from them driving with no licenses, insurance etc. this countries goverment are money mad and were the mugs that let them walk all over us, why? is it not time we stand up to them? if the whole country had a week off work think of the mayhem it would cause? the money the goverment scum would loose, they'd hate it, we've all got to stick together and fight for what we want. were getting prosecuted for driving our cars when the americans are driving big v8s etc and they dont collered? goverment are a waste of oxygen they only line thier own pockets and do nothing to help us, they only claim they will when its time for election

nielrev true point mate, why dont prisoners work? they can still do jobs from inside, alot of prisoners say its a easy life inside, you get fed etc and its a free life, if they had to work whilst inside it would help try and influence them on to the straight and narrow
