I have no lights front or rear on my sapphire, I have full beam and flash but no side and dip or tail light and brake lights, does the lighting circuit share a common earth that could cause the problem to all of these if so where on the chassis are they as without undoing the whole loom and tracing/ fitting new wires Im not going to find this this side of April!!
I have the earths behind each headlight but where abouts are the rest please if you can help, I have power at the fuse box and the bulbs all work so WTF could it be, I may have to trace every power and earth yet

Check the loom in the engine bay that is close to the "firewall" or whatever its called. Among all them wires that is tied together there is one cable (I think its yellow) that got a connector on it and if that starts to rust you can suddendly loose the lights.
On my LHD Sapph its in between the drivers side suspension turret and the back off the engine so it might be on the opposite side for you. Follow the loom a bit from where comes out into the engine bay through the firewall grommet. (spelling?)

I would look around the ignition switch first as this witches the circuits in/out, ie they are ignition controlled, from there there will be a main wire going to the fusebox, which will no doubt be on a BUS terminal, the flash has seperate live supply so it can work independantly of the light position.
Forget an earth problem, as it won't cause it.
