does anyone have a diagram on the bearing fitment when modifying from a 270 to a 360 , i have all the parts to do the conversion , and i know that the 360 is screwed on as a pose to just dowell'd like the 270 , but as its all sat together on the bearing housing theres a small gap under the thrust washer before its screwed down

now it looks that if i screw it down then i could damage the 360 unit , maybe it should be pulled down ???

i dont know !!

any info guys ??

Isn't there a small amount of machining to be done to fit one?? Ive not done it myself but have been charged to machine out the housing on turbos before to take these ones , maybe bullshit , i dont know !!

tony i think you may well be right my freind , i think its a small counter bore in the bearing housing to recess teh back part of the front thrust bearing this would then remove the gap i have


oh well looks like a little machine work is required
