Not good, I was once offered some cash for a car from someone off here, but turned them down as I hate owing money no matter how soon I was going to get it. Never met the chap before either!

I agree though,,I dont trust anyone either..ESP Welsh poeple called "spiky",who i call half way through apub quiz,asking what the NATIONAL SYMBOL is for there country,and they GET IT WRONG!!!!! PMSL!!!!!!

Is a shame, as people have said, he did seem like a top guy. Met him once or twice and spoke to him on the phone a few times. I think he was wrong for even taking the loan though, let alone not paying it back 
Lee. I know it may be due to ultimately 500 quid being not much money to you but you seem reasonably bothered about the principle of it. I don't understand why you didn't just drive to his house and get it from him..?
