talking of carbon foot print
at work this lesbian tree hugger who gets a 4 fucking busses to work has been making us clean out tins out ( drinks, soup ect) for her to recycle to attempt to make the company more carbon neutral ( though we sell car parts PMSL )
anyway my boss being a tight arse jew has just got hes water bill and questioned it and blamed my fish for increasing hes bill by so much as hes been proven to be correct and not a faulty meter ( bills almost 3 times as much thislast quarter he flapping on about
ANYWAY,,,,, turns out that when we have been washing out these 500ml, 300ml, soup tins, milk bottles ect we have been wasting twice as much water as the tins/cans/bottles hold
so in a effort to recycle and help the enviroment we have been wasting water, now people in third world countrys NEED water and so will we in the summer when they anounce YET ANOTHER drought order
my boss has now mentioned that due to this hes now got concerns about the enviroment with the issue of wasting water and so we are no longer allowed to wash tins ect and if we wish to recycle can either take them home and wash them or send them in dirty, hes reason though is the people in africa who need water,,,,,,, NOT CAUSE OF HES WATER BILL THE TIGHT FUCKER !!
though i feel he DOES have a point,,,,, even if he IS being jewish

I upset our resident tree hugger by giving her a box of energy saving lightbulbs. She asked if I needed them and I said no as I'd just removde them all and replaced them with halogen downlights. She went mad and told me how bad they were blah blah. I pointed out 2 small facts.
1. You can't dim energy saving bulbs
2. I pay my electricity bill nobody else
Every year we have a green travel day where we are all supposed to cycle, walk, train or bus in to the office. Couple of years ago I went to my Mums and picked up my Escort and drove that in to the office. I'm getting fed up of being bullied by these greenies taking the moral high ground.
