well that was different, never felt anything like that before

North of Lincoln by about 10mins..and roughly 15 mins from my house !!!
I arrived home literally after it happened: just down the road people were coming out of the houses in short and I was like "wtf are all these people doing out?" Never felt a thing in the car. Walks in the door and the missus shouts me upstairs: said she thought the house was falling down as the cabinet next to the bed was shaking quite violently and thought something large had gone past the house making it vibrate - had a look nothing. Then saw me pull up and wondered if she'd dreamt it but recalls the cabinet shaking and was positive it wasn't a dream as she said her heart was going mad. I told her i'd seen people on the street and thought it was weird to have that many people about at that time!
Looked on bbc website - UK Tremors!!
At least she knows she isn't going mental now!

We get these once in a while where I live (California, USA.) Not that big a deal until they get up around 6. (The scale is logarithmic - 6.0 is 10x more powerful than 5.0.) They start knocking houses over around 7.0.
