Default xr3i/rst hybrid sort of

busy sorting my cabby out for rsting, but iv been told i can do a rst/xr3i hybrid that runs on low psi, anhyone have any knowledge on this as im looking for summit to give me a pssssst while im sorting the rst out?

you'll have to run low boost and not alot of advance on the dizzy or it'll suffer from pinking, personally i wouldnt bother just do it properly mate.

dont you retard the timing, not advance it?

and yeah it is possible, with low boost. can run a little more boost if you put a rst bottom end but wont be great until you get the loom and ecu in there.

i mean itd cost about 200-300 quid to do it like this, and you can get a twatted or rotten rst for only slightly more than that, and do a proper conversion
