out of general interest,but how does the control box on a flamer kit work?and could you make one from maplins or similar?im just bored and wondering about random stuff

feed off the rev counter, to a relay from battery to coil in boot. Every pulse, the relay and coil will click equalling 1 spark. Earth it on rear light cluster earth point.

if you cant get it just by a spark being in your tailpipe thats a properly epic fail going so far as to cut the ign.

edit: make sure you put a switch for the feed on the dash somewhere, at 70mph I think the flames shot out about 8foot, old bill don't like that so it's handy to be able to turn it off.
