Im planning on getting some decent tyres on my nova when i put the turbo engine in.
Got some toyos on there at the moment with a fair bit of tread left.
but the back need new ones soon.
i was thinking put the toyos on the back and some 888's on the front.
not planning on taking it on a track just on the 1/4 mile a few times.

none I can think of, put 145 13 inch steels on the rear lol
on a track, or the road, I wouldnt wan to risk the huge difference in tyre grip personally tho as benni says

i went against the advice of a couple of people and put dunlop/continental sport tyres on the back and goodyear eagle F1s on the front of my old xr2 and although the grip at the front was phenominal, the back would let go and swing out under acceleration on long corners and round abouts, very fooking scary!!!
id either just get a pair of proper drag radials just for the pod or a full set of 888s (or any decent tyres) if your budget can afford it.

We run 888's on the front of our nova and it was fine on the road when we used it.
I think Gav ran the same on his 400hp let for over a year.
The back ends are only twitchy when you remove all the weight
