are xr4i rear lights same as a 3 door?
the orange toss HAS to go!!!!
will these fit?

A pair of rear lights tinted type plus number plate surround for a hatchback model not SALOON. will fit all models XR4i XR4x4 etc

No they WONT fit Matt.The light clusters are about 2"longer and wont fit in our holes in back panel.I looked into them.

They will fit if you change the back panel to a mk2 one mate.And a bit of work around the sides to as our lights come to a point and these are more flat.If you get wot i mean.Sounds a lot of work to me.When you can get similar ones off Nomad and just change them.

anyone got any pics of 3 doors with smoked rears? (especially moonstone ones)
I dont really like the orange ones either and my indicators are smoked

Top Boss as far as i know gets the 2 different clusters and strips them down and swaps them over once he has trimmed off the revelant bits around the side etc.So he glues on the outside of a mk2 cluster (lense)to the frame of the the mk1.

Not sure about all.But all the ones i've seen i think have had mk2 lights and it something i heard.So may be wrong.So maybe it 1-1

i asked the bloke selling them (some rs spares place) if they were the same on a 3 door as a 4i and hes replied "No there the same all hatchback are the same if you want to fit the center surround you will need to either stick it with double sided tape or drill 4 small holes for the fixings"
