The grey one that was in Fast Ford a few years back C100 LGF (I think) was actually built as a white car but was returned to the factory to be refinished in grey.

Nah mate in the first series of CATS EYES Jill Gascoign drove around in a blue S1. Leslie Ash used to look damn fine

It is the real one owned by Simon Pearce the car above sat on a drive is the promotion car used to advertise and promote the datapost team now owned by Scott Williamson, when you took that picture the promotion car was driving alongside with all the same stickers on it, oh yeah i was in it aswell

me and my mate rung up a "genuine grey " series one up about 3 years ago to but and the guys story was that ford wouldnt paint and register it grey so he had to pick it up drive off the forecourt and back into the ford garare and then they took it backto the paint shop stripped it completely down and then painted it in grey!!! after listening to this we decided notto view it and hmy mate bought a normal white one from just round the corner!!! id have one in any colour!!!!!!

mine is the spare car/promo car for the datapost racing team and yes,it is a white one painted red,but was done by ford before registration,so came out red.was lost in a garage for 15 years untill a guy called moza found it..

DEFO 100% princess Di's car
Gril was changed for some reason I cant remember and the reg too from when she owned it- bloke who owns it now is RSOC member and his surnam is Windsor if I remember
As for the colours- who cares so many diff stories.
The grey one went back to the factory- I am sure one of the black pool lot owned it.

Correct Shings, the car went straight to ford after Princess Di had it, and the spec completely put back to Original S1 Spec, as a few things were differnet for Princess Di, including the Grill.
Plus the Reg was indeed changed.
