Looks good................................but you should of left the enging bay in white!, its easier to spot oil splats etc on white engine bays than black ones , thats why most grp4/WRC cars have white bays even when the outside colour is different.

..hows how much you know!

Yum its still running in..will be on t34 .63 its already got launch control and anti lag..so i think it will be quite rapid!

Billy...deceided to go as per rally cross boys and put in the bay as once set its set

...as for keeping it white to show up leaks..fook off.... your know when its leaking and excessive leaking is the main worry..it has all the gauges and always gets checked before taken out as per my other cossies..so no justification to keep white!

No, a T34 is incapable of doing this, as the engine at high rpm (if it is speced properly ) can consume all the air that this turbo is capable of giving - and then some, so the boost tails off to around 26psi by 7000rpm .

No mate. Incapable of doing so. However the turbo can spike at more than 2.5 bar and every psi extra gives more mid range punch. It will hold 2 bar ish until about 6800 rpm or so.

With Ford dominating WRC Phil may fancy his chances of being a front runner. He needs a proper motorsport person involved so Dingy is being asked to act as Navigator.

Joking aside Phil its looking good all the best with it .

..so if i set boost to 2.5bar will it automatically just drop at higher rpm and be ok? As you see i have the rallycross boost setup so i can set to whatever with no drops..so i can easily set to 2.5bar.

Phil you nuggart did you not read both my post and Rich's ? Have we become invisible ?

Lets see you set your rallycross boost arrangement for 2.5 bar at 7000rpm . You could weld the wastegat shut and it would still tail off at high rpm .

Phil,

The 1st time Mark set my car up with the .63 housing (changed from a .55) we saw over 2.5 bar in 4th gear. The boost will drop off automatically as you put it because the turbo cant produce enough air for the engine. i.e the engine swallows the lot and can happily have some more, its just the turbo is too small to continue producing the air flow.. you could have your boost control wide open or have the pipe off the actuator, in effect free spooling the turbo for as much boost as the turbo can produce but it will drop off. Dont forget lean/det issues in the higher gears as well, so fuelling and igniton needs to be set-up mate.

Mike...i am goin from your posts....as boost comes in i can set to 2.5bar...all i need to know is that it will drop naturally without harm...it effectively then gives a nice spike and a nice drop higher up...ie on the t3 i can set to 20psi and it should hold it all the way

..Cheers Rich...i did specify to Stu on my chip i was gonna run 2.5 bar peak..so should be ok.
