I had an Italian Police car 4 up RACE me when I was over there!!!! Nutters!
Have to say though, I would have been a bit concerned driving like that in a built up area when it was that busy though..

italian police are a different breed.. when i was there they just sat watching the kids on scooters in shorts and no helmets getting their kneedown, and all they did was shake their heads..
although if you try and drive the wrong way up a one way road they pull a gun on you..
