So discussion on how the fuck to make your car quiet

A silencer ring if you got a ported shroud inlet.
A resonator box.
Ruffled inlet piping.
Longer inlet piping.

brom uses a fucking gert airbox on his - that does the trick.

A silencer ring, its simply a ring that sits in front of the ported shroud inlet, held in by a C-clip.
All standard Holset turbos come with one to silence the noise having a ported shroud makes, remove it and they MILES louder, trust me. Makes no difference to performance tho.
Ported shroud only tho, they are miles louder than normal turbos without the ring, but quiet with.

Ruffled inlet pipes work, hence why most cars have em as standard. Noticable effect too, tested that. Even bigger effect on chatter than induction noise wierdly tho.
