Are they the same?

I assume they'll be simliar on all cars - in regards to the actually sensor. Will they both be the same or will one have a higher/lower tolerance (if thats the word?)

I didn't think cars with no cat had the sensor as it's only there to keep the fueling right for the cat to work efficiently?

No worries, you mean if the sensor is before or after the cat and I read the question as before or after cats were fitted by law...

The only post cat sensors I get to see are MG Rover one's and although they look the same it's not the case.

Yep thinking that too martin - idle has gone slightly lumpier - reason for change my original had fallen down and scraped through the wires.

Post is fine - it's the pre.

Best becareful incase it's running lean I guess.
