Tont Ryan's old white/orange example was pure sex to see close up once Tony had got it as he wanted, was a delight to see it testing one cold day at brands.

Martins thundersaloon is another awesome car, had an insane few laps at the mercy of Greg Rose a couple of months back, that car seriously shifts, and with some awesome cornering ability. add to that Greg is a more than talented driver

for both of my mentined cars

I know its not done for styling

What i was getting at was that to do this to a road car would be ridiculous!!

Thats one hell of a firewall between him and the entire back end of the car?

Whats the reasoning for that?
(and dont say to stop a fire spreading)
I mean how come its not just the tank partioned off, which would surely be a ligther way to go, or is it mid engined or something like that?

first pick looks like one that would be tagged as a silhouette other than a thunder saloon,,is a silhouette just a spaceframe with a shell stuck on it?

forgive my ignorance

You'll have to do a search , its michael blomfields car , runs in the Northern sports & saloons or did anyway . The shell was an ex Rod birley car , i believe it was the Gartrac chassis that had the 962 GpC motor in it but was sold on , not much sierra left on it now tho !
