Default cat converter value as scrap?

what are they worth? just been told they are worth £50 - £60 quid, that can't be true can it?

Yeh its true you can get anything from £15-£60 depending on what type they are.

IIRC they contain platinum (no idea how much though) and seeing as that's the worlds most valuable metal.......

Yes providing the cat has not collapsed and is still intact you will get money for it, local scrap metal merchant near me gave me £38 for one a week ago

it depends how big they are,you can get £80 in the right place for large ones if you have a few to trade.

Don't no but we have a fleet of transits at work and the picky scum keep on nicking the cats off them

i think the cat on the 406 is fuked, or its aloose heatshield lol

something rattles like a cunt from under the car tho

how much is the cheapest cat for a 406 2.0l estate - dont mind if its nicked, so long as its new and cheap

nope miles away fella! No idea where I picked that up, few people I know say it thou. Maybe I got it off you on here and they all got it off me
