Default st170 box

ive just got one for my zetec turbo i can do all the fab work to fit it but do you need the st170 flywheel and what clutch do i need for 400bhp

The list is endless its not the case of just getting a 6-speed box....

You need a custom spec flywheel and clutch to suit.
the standard set up is a dual mass fly and clutch which can just about handle a standard power focus.

To fit this into your car you will need to fit a hydrulic pedal box along with a hydrulic clutch set up. The focus gear lever tower and the gear cables are also needed.

the diff in the box will not handle 400bhp so you need a quaife diff fitted for that.

Dependant on gearing wanted and use of car, a focus rs box is easier to install. and comes with the quaife diff fitted..



to have a suitbale transmission for 400hp from st170 box.. circa 2k.

i no most of that how much is the flywheel and clutch
