And now go and post a picture of your girlfriends ankle, only to be told It's a family forum and the thread will be locked. The threads I have seen locked on that forum are unbelievable, if a thread becomes just slightly off topic, even though the mebers are still having a good friendly conversation, it can still be locked. I guarentee 95% of this forum would of been banned within the hour of joining. This is just my opinion, of course.

Not being funny mate but I fail too see the point your making...

Passionford is free, it's also an internet forum NOT a club, it's totally upto to you if you wish to pay or not to be a member of PF.

I belong to fordsport and pretty much get the same as you did with FFOC for Ł15 so you could arguee that you have been ripped off again. Also worth mentioning, you dont have to be a member to join the FS forum, and as Benni rightly say niether here or fordsport is Moderated to fuck.

I'm not trying to pick an argument, just trying to workout the point of your post.

what exactly do you expect for Ł20 (or Ł10) a year?if its pointless tacky shite you want save your Ł20 on goldmembership and use it to buy lots of pointless tacky stuff from your local everything a pound shop.
that should keep you amused for about 5 minutes.
its an internet forum that you choose to join and choose again to buy goldmembership for the benefits stated . nothing more nothing less.

It's free to be a member of FFOC - you don't have to pay anything. Same with passionFord.

And just like PassionFord - if you want to access some specific section, you pay to become a memebr.

So what's the difference?

I used to spend loads of time on FFOC a few years ago but now it appears a bit "holier than thou" - if you've ever gone 2mph over the speed limit then you are satan himself.

Gets a bit tedious at times.

And sadly with the price of early Focus' now, they're becoming the new novas/saxos etc.

what gets me is if you dont pay for the higher privelidges then your scum in some forums. I am a member of at least 15 forums, if i paid to access all of them then thats at the very least Ł150-Ł200 in fees a year.
It cant be done......

Glad you like the welcome pack any ideas then please feel free to suggest them. We are a friendly bunch honest 

Graceland
It’s a car club that has a company attached so that we can be claim back VAT etc and put it back into the club also it keeps all the books nice and straight .

Benni,
We are not that bad, we run the club as a family club so have to be very careful in what gets posted.
Very rare do we lock a thread, so if you have a problem with a certain post then please do let me know if a Mod is out of line then I will have a word with them.

RSnutter1,
You can still join the forum but have limited access.

Will,
Really ??? Thanks for that comment mate, You never had a problem with us in the past.

Ronnie - you know well my driving style - and you know well the reasons i'm building the car i am and you have supported me throughout all my years in the FFOC and i am genuinely grateful.

The comment i made above is nothing i haven't said before and i'm afraid it is something i've been aware of for a while. There are a percentage of users who see fit to preach about speed and insist that anyone who goes slightly over the limit will cause fatal accidents.

I have got other comments/thoughts/feelings, but i won't put them here - if you've got 5 mins at the next show/meet/RR day i'll run through them with you

Hi Ronnie how's it going?

I've said before on ffoc that the above is total rubbish. Most of the content that gets locked/removed is completely inoffensive in nature anyway, but the point is - HOW many people's kids go on FFOC in the evening? I'd bet on absolutely 0. There are a very small number of people who take kids to meets - even Ruth who goes to nearly everything doesnt tend to drag Callum along! It's probably only about 30% of people who even take their other halves to meets to be honest...

It's a nice idea but a fairly weak one imho

Chris

Quick Reply: i spend 20 quid to join FFOC......
