sat nav in a head unit
whats the cheapest way to have it?
ive got a tomtom but its broken twice and ive had to go without inbetween, i use it in a recovery truck so as you can guess is a right pain having to use maps and going on net to print it out
maybe something with a fold out screen?? as i presume a built in one will be tiny

i use a blaupunkt, where the whole unit is just DIN sized in my jeep. no fancy map in a million colors but then again u got the arrows and the sexy female vioce to guide u
also when u take the frontplate off u cant tell wot it is so lower chances of getting it nicked.....

Have you thought of just using your phone as a Sat Nav device instead?
Alot of the modern smart phones have sat nav capability and it might stop you shelling out ŁŁŁ's on a screen if you already have decent phone
Unlike me who is stupid and had both an N95 and a Alpine d310r and still don't use either!!

spose i could but small screen, i find it handy to often glance at the screen to see the road ahead etc, sometimes its handy when you have car on the spec and 35 odd foot long lol
