Default Zvh block and pistons

Would the pistons and rods from "smitsturbo" st170 biuld fit and work in a pre 98 mondeo block its 2ltr???

Yes they would fit straight in, you would have to work out your CR though! Nice set of forged pistons and forged rods there.

Yup,

As Si said - straight in - just remember that the STs ran a higher compression ratio partly down to the head - 8cc smaller chamber in the head but some on the pistons as well i believe.

Is he selling up then

i believe he got them through Ian Howell so best to contact him to advise on cr ratio of the pistons then a quick deck of the block, bore and you got a bottom end suitable for around 450 bhp

No I think Smits is selling the doner parts ie. std ST170 bits he doesnt need.
