I have just bought an ST220 that has a blueflame exhaust fitted, it sounds ok but the tail pipes look a bit big so I'm thinking of putting it back to standard; well I was until I got a quote from Ford for £1000

Blueflame used to make all of mongoose's exhausts. Quite good quality exhausts had one on my last car and didnt have a bad word to say about it.

Can you just change the backbox if you not happy with the tailpipe? Or is it a complete system welded together?

Why don't you actually like it? Too loud? Too big? Eye sore?

speak to John at www.pipewerx.com - he is ex-blueflame as it happens I believe, they supply all manner of exhaust components - boxes, pipe, tailtrims etc. Very helpful chap.

Or just phone blueflame direct....they can make you a tail pipe to your spec. Personaly I prefer them to Mongoose (on a cossie anyhows) as the blueflame system uses proper bolt together flanges insted of slip over joints and U clamps as used on the mongoose jobby.
