i always wanted an 80's 911 turbo.still like them but when go my cossie it was wasting them so left it as a dream car so im not diappointed in it

now it has to be realistic ones white rs500 or escort cos and unrealistic ferrari f40 or bugatti eb110

(probably wanted an Escort cosworth too, I was very Ford blinkered 10 years ago!)

i was 11, an escort rs turbo, escort cossie and capri 2.8.
had the rst, will eventually get a capri, but not so sure on the escort cossie till i have a lot of money for repairs, the rst crippled me.

now i have a mk1 and 2 fiesta.hmmmmn

 

Wanted an S2 RST and still have it the now!

10 years ago (I was 18) I wanted an Orion 1.6i Ghia.
Never owned one though.

 

ten years ago i was 11, and my mates mum had a white series 2 and i thought it was the nuts. Then a few months later i went into the shop and see a mag with a series 2 on it, i bought the mag and inside was an escort cosworth and from then on that was to be my dream car! Now ten years later i own a escos. i will get a series 2 one day tho!

 

i only really wanted badly a mk2 rs2000 then when at school
and the 3dr cos come out and turned my head one of them too.
then ford made the escort cosworth and that was it, i had to have
one of them aswell
i have had all 3 and all at the same time too

but back to the question, 10 years ago i had a sierra saphire cosworth
and wanted a escort cosworth and now i have one

i would have liked a honda nsx, or porsche 911 turbo - don't really want either now though

 

10 years ago, top of my list was a Sapphire Cosworth 2wd
1st choice in black, Flint Grey 2nd choice of colour. Got my 2nd choice colour - still have it - been a brilliant car.

Had the Astra GTE 16v for 3 years ( loved it, wished I hadn't sold it )

Doubt I'll get the other 2 now

 

Always wanted a RS500 since watching the BTCC at Donington in the 80's, still do but mate won't sell me his Moonstone one


10 years ago i'd had B9KOS 2 years already Had it 12 years in Febuary

 

In the mid 90's i really wanted a Saph cossie. I waited 10 years to get one and it didn't disappoint. Driving it home was something i'll remember for a long time - awesome!

 

I was 15 at the time and wanted nothing but a sierra cosworth which i finally got when i bought a white 2wd saff when i was 20. Owned it for 4 years then sold it, now buying another one on Sunday...

 

Just over 10 years ago I remember going into a Volvo showroom and seeing a Volvo 850 R saloon and always saying to myself from then on that I wanted one. At the end of last year I managed to find a good condition low mileage one that met my criteria. Since then I have had it Rica re-mapped, to which I was blown away by the improvement in performance from an off the shelf remap, and I have many more plans for it in the pipeline. Now most would probably could call that strange or maybe something else. One thing I do know is I am very happy with it and its better than I imagined it to be.

 

i still had my cossie 10yrs ago was not thinking of another cossie

 

I wanted a series 1 rst, a cav turbo and an escos. Had all 3 and still own my all time favourite.

 

Wanted an F40 since they were launched and still do.
Its the only car I would TWOC given the chance!!!!

Probably a ferrari of sorts. My love affair with RS's didnt start till a few years later. When i was 14, all i wanted was an Escort Cossie.

When i was 17 i wanted a red Escort RS Turbo, got it when i was 19, loved it for just less than a year and moved on.

Ill have another though

 

Wanted an RS500 Cossie in moonstone with a 550bhp engine, but alas I was young and stupid at 14

Lotus Carlton and twin engine Renault 5 Turbo were also on the list, so kind of got somewhere nearish.

 

andyorion it must be about 10 years ago that TWR were racing them in the BTCC

back in 94 when i was 10 i was shopping at the big asda with my parents and we had had to park at the far end of the car park due to no spaces but when we came out some one had parked up in an escort cosworth near by i made my dad take me over and have a walk around it as i didn't know what it was wanted one ever since but now i think i'd rather have an evo or a m3
