Anybody fancy a cheap Blu-Ray trilogy?
Popped into Tesco's today and noticed they were selling the Spiderman Trilogy 1-3 for £15. Thought it must be a mistake...
Had it in my head the price was for each film but scanned it in and to my amazement £15 was for the complete set! Checked on Tesco.com and it's £42.97 + p+p
Bit of a fuck up me thinks
Bargain of the week i say

Stu - It's a BBC documentary on Planet Earth..Narrated by Richard Attenborough. The series follows experts in different countries to find animals that have never been filmed before. Parts of the series have been on BBC2. I see the snow lepard epsiode and thought it was awesome... But to see how much better it is on Blu-ray is fuckin unbelieveable.. Why it really looks so good is it's in 1.85 16:9 resolution so it fills the WHOLE screen without the black from widescreen at the top and the bottom..
The only downside is that it's in 1080i not 1080P You can't tell much it isn't in progressive but if you were picky you'd notice. It's available region free in the states in 1080p, but what really put me off was that Richard Attenborough isn't the narrator it's Sigourney Weaver. Wouldn't seem right IMO so just got the Uk version off the bay for 30quid.

If you go on tesco's website you will find blu-rays cheaper there than what they are in the shop, I got Ghost Rider for £17 from tesco extra online when its £25 in the shop

Good man! If you like learning, like nature, like stuff about the earth, and like Attenborough, you will LOVE this! Quite possibly the BEST wildlife and earth footage EVER shot
I only caught bits of it when it was on TV some years ago, but downloaded all the episodes after seeing a repeat in full - then got hooked totally and watched all of them over 2 days
Check out Blue Planet aswell - same sort of thing, but focus's on the underwater world of our planet - again, simply some of THE best footage of this type ever shot!

If anybody really wants this, play.com have it at £26.99 and they are also doing a Buy two get one free offer on selected Blu Ray and HD-DVD titles. If you really want to see top notch quality I would check out Black Hawk Down as the picture and sound quality is amazing.

Absolutely fantastic so far! I know what you mean about the big fish tank Some proper weird things floating about the sea floor though..
See the bit in the forest when the Owl is learning to fly? And then the next scene it's hanging by one foot upside down from a branch?
Got to be one of if not the best Blu-Ray out
