I'm looking at getting a simple seatbelt mounted rear rollcage with no cross section or horizontals! Just staight up either side and across a little like this.

So that he has got something to hit his unprotected head on in the event of an accident. Why else?

 

or in the event of an accident - it rips its self out and impales itself thru the back of the drivers seat and pins him to the steering wheel!!

 

Or, It smashes through the window and gets someone else and you survive!

Seriously why? It dont even look good tbh
