My escos about to grace the streets again.
Im about to finally get my escos back from the paint shop this month and want to get it ready again for the road.
The car has been standing for about 5 years and I want to know what I should be doing to prepare it for its maiden voyage (again). I know the brakes will probably be a little sticky if not seized but my main concerns are with fluids such as gearbox, oil, power steering, brakes and whatever else they have . Can anyone please write a little check list for me as I dont want anything breaking after being off the road for so long..
I will post up some piccys in the restoration room when I finally get it home to work on.
Cheers
Neil

i would change
brake fluid
power st
box and diff oil
engine oil
just as a matter of precaution
if u have leather trim put a few coats of leather conditioner on it before u sit in it as this can go hard and crack easily
