Just been to see it.
Was ok supose
But, can anyone tell me, when the government bloke has the predator's gun, whi is the Wwoman at the end he gives it to?????
Is it the woman from the first Predator film that Arnie saves in the forest?
Someone must know?

i watched it last night on tinternet & that bit confused me aswell & the bit when the preditor lad skinned that copper in the woods, no need for that as he was there to batter the alien folks, & the survivors at the end seemed pretty calm about losing there intire town

She is one harf of Wayland Yutani, the nasty corporation.
Was poor imo, characters were crap so was the plot.
Was better than the first AVP though!
No film will ever beat the first 2 alien films.. ever!
There is a Aliens FPS game coming out in 2009 made by Sega, Based on the second film

The wifey at the end was the co-founder of the company from Alien/Aliens etc, it was called Weyland-Yutani. Weyland obviously appeared in AVP one, and then obviously the Bishop android from Aliens was modelled on him.
Agree with the previous statement, they'll never better Aliens (didnt rate Alien as highly though) or the first Predator film. Two of the best action films in the past 30 years, Aliens is probably one of the best of all time

Shame someone doesn't use the franchise properly and make a decent film, they have ALL the right ingredients and need to make something terrifying like the first 2 films. Shit, they still make me jump and look over my shoulder and I'm nearly 31 lol

I thought the new one was good, the predator was back to it's proper looking physique, with pure hardcore weapons. All the old school music and sound effects, and lots of nice in jokes/references.
