i watched it last night on tinternet & that bit confused me aswell & the bit when the preditor lad skinned that copper in the woods, no need for that as he was there to batter the alien folks, & the survivors at the end seemed pretty calm about losing there intire town

I think you are the only person I know who enjoyed the first one, lol

I thought the new one was good, the predator was back to it's proper looking physique, with pure hardcore weapons. All the old school music and sound effects, and lots of nice in jokes/references.

The wifey at the end was the co-founder of the company from Alien/Aliens etc, it was called Weyland-Yutani. Weyland obviously appeared in AVP one, and then obviously the Bishop android from Aliens was modelled on him.

Agree with the previous statement, they'll never better Aliens (didnt rate Alien as highly though) or the first Predator film. Two of the best action films in the past 30 years, Aliens is probably one of the best of all time

 

Shame someone doesn't use the franchise properly and make a decent film, they have ALL the right ingredients and need to make something terrifying like the first 2 films. Shit, they still make me jump and look over my shoulder and I'm nearly 31 lol
