Serious Question.....Future Shows...
What do people expect to see at a show these days...
If we use croft weekend as an example...
We provide track action, 0-60 sprint, concours and a static show.
Can I ask the public what they would like to see at a weekender such as croft in the forms of attractions and things to do...
Just trying to see what everybody would like to see.....aside from naked birds

What about a Bouncy Castle??
in all seriousness - a mobile R/R could be a good idea, and its always good when a large amount of the regional groups turn up with a big collection of cars.
makes for a good social aspect nattering to people.

Charity lottery with winner getting to stone Phil to death. 50 sheets a ticket. Christ it would make more than Glastonbury.

I assume we are talking about the Croft show in particular?
Last year if not my favourite deffo one of my top 3 shows, the actual content of the show in my opinion you can't better, for me personally the only things that let it down where
The Them and Us feeling we got as a NON RS club, we where sent to the back and beyond, and in the evening when we tried to make our entertainment we got dropped on like a ton of bricks by security...
The lack of entertainment on the night (maybe had we been more included that wouldn't have been so evident?)
For suggestions...
Night time entertainment?
The RC idea is Mint
What about some off road action like the Rage Buggies? They had them at the Goodwood Festival and they where a right screem.
Karts?
Drifting? maybe where the 0 - 60 is? so long drifting and then so long 0 - 60?

take what you said on board mate....
We wanted a disco in the evening to make every body welcome....
Trying for the same again this year mate....
So bare with us on that as it was out of our hands....
As for the security - hit and miss to what they allowed....which aint brilliant with inconsistancy....

Hmmm
Im going to flip it the other way first and tell you what I dont want to see
1) Rocket powered vans
2) Parade laps
3) Russ Swift style displays (yawn - yep the guy can drive... but yawn)
4) Traders selling sweets candy floss and all other things non car related.
So Derby & Durham organisation as I cant remember seeing any of them
And now for what I would maybe like to see..
1) Build section where people can bring along current projects being worked on (plenty part finished stuff out there waiting to get to shows.. so bring them along)
2) 100% novice and ladies track sessions 1 per morning and 1 per afternoon at reduced rates to give them a safe taster of track driving without the worry of nob heads hunting them down.
3) Beer tent Sat night with entertainment and food until midnight (noise regs). Keeps people together and makes it openly social and less clicky.
4) Track hire cars (not just passenger laps). Standard hire car ala top gear.
5) More things for the kids such as small karting area and mini fun fair etc
(Makes it a complete family weekend)

With all the 'names' coming up this time, what about a celeb only track session?
I for one would love to see the likes of The Reyland Cossie, Your Mk2, Andy G's & Charlie Shaw's Focus's etc etc all out at the same time on there own
