I get bored pretty quickly too TBH and if a show dosnt move on after a few years it becomes so repetative that "you dont need to go". A bit like the Autosport show.
It reads like your wanting to address this issue as maybe your feeling it too ?? so again

4) Traders selling sweets candy floss and all other things non car related.
So Derby & Durham organisation as I cant remember seeing any of them
And now for what I would maybe like to see..
1) Build section where people can bring along current projects being worked on (plenty part finished stuff out there waiting to get to shows.. so bring them along)
2) 100% novice and ladies track sessions 1 per morning and 1 per afternoon at reduced rates to give them a safe taster of track driving without the worry of nob heads hunting them down.
3) Beer tent Sat night with entertainment and food until midnight (noise regs). Keeps people together and makes it openly social and less clicky.
4) Track hire cars (not just passenger laps). Standard hire car ala top gear.
5) More things for the kids such as small karting area and mini fun fair etc
(Makes it a complete family weekend)

Croft is probably my favourite show, love the track aswel, hopefully next year i'll be out joining you.
Everyone whinges about the catering, but if it's nothing to do with you, they will be in contract with the race track, so stop whinging at dingy/show organisers people.
Will definitly be there this year spectating.

love the idea of a marque/beer tent, brings everyone together then, similar to redgate lodge before nat day in 05 and 06, good way of meeting people.
and a bit more for kids, to do, as there are a hell of a lot of familys there.
is the runaway long enough for a 1/4 mile? might be if you started right back towards the access road?

The only problem with the 1/4 mile is that people would want to 'race' each other, that is to say have two people going against each other... And that simply aint gonna happen, neither Croft or The RS Guys would be allowed to run it as a race, they are only allowed to run it as a 'test' and as such would not get any Liability cover if 2 cars ran together...
1 car running the 1/4 mile would take longer, the que would be longer and on the whole be less of a spectical.

1/8 mile is big in the states, but you'd still only be allowed to run one car at once...
What about a small drifting circuit on the air strip? or an autotest?

Fair play mate, BUT I may be wrong is not the venue for Donny south a Drag strip? Whealand Airfield or something like that? I'm sure I read that they have drag racing there at other events, and as such then they will have a licience to stage racing, Croft is an Certified Race track and as such they have to adhear to certain regs, and if they are holding a trackday (no Racing) I don't think they are allowed to hold any form of racing at the same time. If i'm wrong I stand corrected.

maybe even vouchers to a biggish store?
or even a good spec headunit?
it has to be something universal to get everyones interest i think.sorules out wheels/suspension etc

we dont controll the food but its quite good and not a bad price unlike some shows !
rolling road could be a possibility if a decent price can be sorted, scott looked into this 2 years ago and it was going to cost people too much money for a run
beer tent we did ask for last year but could not be done due ti new ownership of the circuit but is a maybe for this year
kids stuff, we usually have a couple of slides/bouncy castle but hope to have a bit more this year
quarter mile is out, you have santa pod weekend for that !
resto section is a good idea but i dont think many would be up for trailering half done cars, if you are though let us know !
bikini car wash, good for the lads but wifes and families dont usually like to see it
kids quads, we struggle for an area to use for this unfotunately, croft look after the circuit well and dont like the grass wrecked
we tried to hire the field at the bottom last year for camping and entertainment but it was not possible
thanks for the comments guys
we do try our best to please everyone and have a good balance
performance ford and north yorks rs spares are once again our main sponsors , big thanks to them and watch out for updates in the mag
hope you enjoy our show this year

Ban all the silly slappers who get saggy tits out and try to move round a stage looking like twats...
They are usually caked in make-up, ugly as fook and have dodgy bodies...
Tbh honest it makes me piss when you see these girls come out on stage and all the fellas holding up their mobile fones trying to film them so they can flick one off at the wrist later in the day...very sad...
Would rather look at a nice motor then the hoes at shows....

I would love one show to group makes of cars. i understand that regional stands house all makes of cars but theres so much space at croft that it would be great to have special area for the Anniversary of the Series 1 turbo.
Also theres been load of talk about getting an escort cosworth stand together with as many escort cosworth owners as possible all together in 1 place, this would be a superb sight im sure, and why not do it at Croft?
Dingy i was very impressed with Croft last year, you and the group excelled yourselves with the organisation of it i just feel using the field better instead of sticking everybody round the outside of it would be more beneficial
