Just you wait til ya drive one AJ... i can guarantee it'll make ya smile!!

Seven-speed M Double Clutch Transmission (M DCT) with DRIVELOGIC

We can also announce the introduction of seven-speed M Double Clutch Transmission (M DCT) with DRIVELOGIC. This class-leading BMW M transmission provides the BMW M3 with a decisive advantage over its competitors through its provision of uninterrupted power delivery when shifting from one gear to another. This engineering innovation from BMW M has been achieved by combining the function of two gearboxes into one unit. M DCT employs two clutch packs which, for the first time in a car in this class, allow the process of disengaging one gear and engaging another to overlap.

Personally I think it looks awful.

How messy does that roof look?

Not a fan of the shape anyway. Back end looks distorted and lifts at the rear.

The E46 is a much more classic shape.

We havent ordered any yet but prefer the E46 cab..The boot space isnt up to much either its too busy hiding the roof

I agree, the E46 is a much nicer shape, and yeah the boot space is wank if you have the roof down..... but the drive..... the drive is AWESOME!!

They've lost the plot

50k for a performance saloon car - why not buy a proper sports car that delivers more performance. I doubt that would hold a candle to something like a Cayman-S in the real world on a real road.

And its FUGLY compared to the last one!

Yet another perfectly good M car ruined by the guys in marketing!

Do not see the point in an M3 or M6 convertible. Also hate 911 turbo convertibles as well for the record!

I really like the e90 m3 but it is too similar to all the bread and butter 3 series. the e46 m3 looked noticeably different to the rest of the range

The latest 3 series hasnt grown on me yet... As most people i prefer the E46 (And own one )

The profile of it with the roof up looks like a patchwork quilt
Looks like someone cut a photo of it up and then pieced it back together

I would have a dark colour so the panel gaps wouldnt stand out so much!

Looks ok in profile, but totally the wrong colour to appreciate the aesthetic faculties.

looks a bit like a old honda civic coupe from behind..... the roof looks terrible, and apart from that, the M3 Model dont really look much different to the lower base models....... ....which still look horrible

Ive seen the new M3 coupe in white and i thought it was pure stunning...

Im not a huge fan of white cars but I feel the m3 pulls it off brilliantly, however, don't think white works for the M3 convertible in this instance..
either those shots are shite, or theres to many visable lines/panel joins.

Carbon black with a red leather however i think you could be on to a winner.

Now get those pics up Maria, not going to sell them stuffed in bmw's desktop fillers.
