Explain next time u get stopped that u are familar with the seriousness for being hassled by the police and what happens if u report it and make a complaint.
I reported a copper for hassling me too often when in my car and he could of been sacked if i had of wanted to but i couldnt be fucked with the court business so he got a serious warning

I don't mind being stopped like this. Everything is in order with the car so I'm not bothered and it means if the car is stolen I might have a glimer of hope at getting the car back

If you have not committed any offences for which you have been stopped Best advice i can give is to write a letter to the commander at your local police station complaining of victimisation.
Point out that you feel you are being singled out based on the number of stops you have experienced, and that if this continues again you will be taking the matter further with the Police Complaints Commission.
State that you require a response in writing.
That'll make them think about it....

No but seriously, when they stop you they must tell you why ???
If their excuse is simply can we see your docs, and this happens very often then this is harrasment plain and simple, so see matey above. Also, raise the issue of the police forces resources while they are wasting your time at the side of the road for possibly the third time in a week

dont see the problem tbh.
I used to get stopped 2 or 3 times a week will various cars years ago, nearly all the traffic police got to know my face, so if it got nicked they'd know

Fella's
I do enjoy reading posts where 'we' get slagged off and reading all the bar room lawyer remarks.
Years back a fella complained that he was always gettting stopped and it made the local news. He was putting in official complaints left right & centre about being stopped. The bloke was a complete arse, always coming the 'have you got nothing better to do officer".
Word from on high was passed that he was to be left alone. It was like a red rag to a bull to us lot. It became almost a competition who could stop him first. It got so bad he had to sell his car, but he stopped complaining about us.
More recently a certain someine made an official complaint about an officer I know well over similar incidents. All that happened was that other officers started stopping him instead.
Speaking personally, I've had so many complaints made against me that they all melt into one, when I first started an old school bobby told me that if I did not have at least two complaints on the go at anyone time then obviously I was not doing the job properly, my experience is that this is correct.
The police do NOT need any specific offence to pull you over, we can stop anybody driving at any time.
Also, dont forget that it is an offence to fail to produce your documents to a constable in uniform on request, the seven day producer is just to make it easier for you to do it. My advice would be carry em around with ya.

F**k me, The old bill are every where - even here.
Some famous quotes made to me by police officers over the years....
(Gods honest truth)
"Your number plate is 1mm too small sir"
"Its against the law to hard accelerate in a straight line from a stand still up to the speed limit"
"why do you need a car capable of doing over 150mph ?"
"your tyres are warm - you must have been speeding"
"my astra patrol car is faster that your cosworth"
"you seem too old to drive a boy racer car"
FPMSL

and the worst offenders are the fucking poxy courts, who let every fucker who is a REAL CRIMINAL go after the police have worked so hard to catch them , and HAMMER people for silly shit like speedin on an empty motorway or TV licences

"Get that fucking car pulled over now"
So, i stopped and he said......
"Do you know it's against the law to race on the road, especially racing an officer on a bike"
"Oh, is it? Shame I wasnt racing then"
"Yes you was, you sped off from the lights wheel spinning"
"Wheelspin?? Do you see that badge on the wing officer............. 4x4............ it doesnt spin, it just grips and goes. This is a 60mph road aint it?"
"Yes"
And what speed did I go up to?"
"60mph"
"Then why have you stopped me??"
He left soon after that, with a face like a slapped arse

Ive been pulled over for some pretty stupid things, most innocent, some my fault. I say fair enough. But I once got stopped at Gatwick airport at 1am going to McDonalds coz I was hungry. These 3 officers asked me where I was going, where I had been (just finished work and hungry) etc. Replied nicely as they had big guns of course. They asked for ID, but I had none. I was taken under section 41 of the Terrorist Act 2000 to the station until my parents came down with my passport. And still I hadn't eaten.

RWD Cossie,
Thats fucking BLINDING advice there, so when the car thief gets pulled over, he can simply read off your name and address, and be insured an MOT'd without question
Thats why I said carry em with you ie,on your person NOT leave the damn things in the car.
