You can do what you like to do ie. Social dont overtake in the corners Track days without an incredible Power/Weight ratio in fact too much Power is an hinderance, what I do is totally about how much Power you have, sorry but its true.

My Evo 5 is making 268bhp/ton (need my stroker kit fitted with a gt series turbo this year to push it up a bit)

what weight is a std road going sapphire cossie then- I would guesstimate at 1600 KG fuelled and all fluids and with me driving?
BHP- I would say my Stg3 330bhp YB may produce a genuine 260 max at the wheels? so the calculation of 260/1.6=162.5 bhp per ton at best? I told you a std cosworth was over rated.


My gsxr 750 weighs at least 280kg with me on and produces 110bhp at the wheels max so around 392bhp per ton real world figures= much quicker than most things you meet on a sunday morning

My 92 4x4 with leather, mongoose, 17's, amp, sub and 1/4 tank weighed in at 1400Kg on the calibrated weighbridge at work (no driver)

Acording to its certification sticker its +/- 20KG and altered by 80kg when I got out of the car.

last time it was wiegh'd, mine come in at 1220kg in track trim with fuel, but i did mine with me inc (85kg's)
