650KG's (its probably less) and YUMS engine would give me 1015 per tonne. Could be fun.

Reckon its around 725 at the moment.

Well its been a few years since I've seen your car but I think it was 2 years ago at Bedford RSOC day when we saw it, you were having problems with a snapped actuator rod iirc.

Whatever power it had then it was FOOKING flying, the anti lag in the garages was a touch loud too

Yep. That was a good day apart from that snapped actuator. Got some mad welder in the local village to repair it but just kepts breaking. Its considerably more powerful (probs 100 HP more) and much lighter now too as ive replaced everything I could with carbon.

Gutted I cant make the PF Bedford day in a couple of weeks.

I could make it, but the car needs some mapping finishing as its on a T6 2000 now.

Also need to get all the new suspension aligned and set up! Would have all been done if I was going to the PF one.

Just proves I need to get my finger out and get it all finished!!!!!

Cant wait to get it on track with all the new bits. Will be at Bedford a few times this year I would imagine.

Mine works out at this:

Power at Flywheel (BHP) : 300
Weight without Driver (KG) : 1300
Power to Weight Ratio (BHP Per Ton) : 234.47
0 - 60 (Secs) : 4.85
0 - 100 (Secs) : 11.53
60 - 100 (Secs) : 6.68
Quarter Mile (Secs) : 13.15
Terminal Speed (MPH) : 106.79
Drag Strip Quarter Mile (Secs) : 13.05
Drag Strip Terminal Speed (MPH) : 108.01

Be interesting so see what happens this year then when I get to use the fucker!

Think i worked mine out in correctly LOL...

Power to Weight Ratio (BHP Per Ton) : 601.08
0 - 60 (Secs) : 3.04
0 - 100 (Secs) : 6.33
60 - 100 (Secs) : 3.29
Quarter Mile (Secs) : 11.08
Terminal Speed (MPH) : 132.26
Drag Strip Quarter Mile (Secs) : 10.98
Drag Strip Terminal Speed (MPH) : 133.78

Doesn't take into account the grip but my fasted 60-100 is 3.7secs so we aint far off......must be the 380bhp eh christian

with 450bhp claimed figure from TOTD...

Power to Weight Ratio (BHP Per Ton) : 481.29
0 - 60 (Secs) : 3.28
0 - 100 (Secs) : 7.26
60 - 100 (Secs) : 3.98
Quarter Mile (Secs) : 11.43
Terminal Speed (MPH) : 125.48
Drag Strip Quarter Mile (Secs) : 11.33
Drag Strip Terminal Speed (MPH) : 126.93

My fastest 1/4 is 125mph at 12.9 too.....but the 60-100 is about the same as it was when it had 440bhp....

So if the calculator is accurate then my power figures are pointing towards 560 than 450 LOL going on the fact i have grip 60-100 LOL

All very interesting though....whilst talking in the pub

I would say they are reasonably accurate (after it was pointed out to me )

Your car is capable of those acceleration times, its just not setup for it.

I think obviously when you get to your power levels in 2wd you have to add the fact that grip is the issue, but if it gripped then those times could be very real

Dingy, impressive stuff, I would of thought it would be over a ton but thats good to know they are under.

You only have a kevlar bonnet and bootlid too don't you ?

1. I'm trying to have a laugh.
2. Funny how you spot the posts where I have a poke at Dingy, but not the ones where he has a totally unprovoked poke at me.

Car has kelvar boot and bonnet - poly carb windwows and no interier....

Kerb Weight for a Mexico is 903 kg...

So with the cage and heavier parts its slightly heavier than a standard car....

I think paul baileys was 1050kg for example...

My peak power is at 7600-7700 mate....

Not at 6600 like the DD RR states....

According to you the RR god i have 380bhp which is a slight bit over yours - lets get them on the road and see how much you get wasted mate and I have a long diff too....

Put your money where your mouth is mate - oli can hammer you and i can just pull out and overtake him LOL.....

So my weight is approx 940-950kg and my power approx 550bhp at 2.2bar at peak power of 7600-7700 if you think its anywhere between 380 and 450 like TOTD rollers claimed them come to my house or to the track and i will take you out.....

1050 is the kerb weight init - add 100-200 for the driver and all the liquids mate and see what it is then

If fact most of the weights are kerb weights which means NO fluids and NO driver....

average fat bloke 70-120 kilo's

Fluid is 1 kilo per litre init....

water 5l
fuel 30l
brake fluid 2l
power steering fluid 1l

etc etc...

all adds up....

In which case.... adding 150kgs

Power at Flywheel (BHP) : 218
Weight without Driver (KG) : 1200
Power to Weight Ratio (BHP Per Ton) : 184.58
0 - 60 (Secs) : 6.03
0 - 100 (Secs) : 14.96
60 - 100 (Secs) : 8.93
Quarter Mile (Secs) : 14.41
Terminal Speed (MPH) : 98.16
Drag Strip Quarter Mile (Secs) : 14.21
Drag Strip Terminal Speed (MPH) : 99.90

Still not close - but its a good point you make.

Having said that is it rains I'll be eating lots of faster cars for breakfast - ask SiB when he was a coombe in the rain
