Glasses & Contact lenses
Who on here wears either glasses, contact lenses or both
I just got my glasses for driving and on here also got contacts for work coz its imposible for me to wear glasses at work

Me, cos I'm fucking blind as fuck .. Can't wear contacts , tried loads and just can't abide them ... Makes playing football a real pain as I can't head the ball properly either

I wear glasses all the time, contact lenses if i'm out on a night out, i've been for loads of conultations for laser but neither company can gurantee that it will work so sod that.

i wear either - both would be worse than not wearing any
by the way, if you have dodgy eyes you can see better underwater. but put goggles on and contact lenses in and it goes shit again

both for me too i`m not a lover of contacts though after having one break in my eye the other month went to take it out and only half came out and i couldnt find the other half yet i could feel it......... 3 hours later i got the fucker

I wear both... contacts for work and general socialising, but give my eyes a rest from them and wear my newly acquired spec's in the house. My eyes arent too great with my -3.25 prescription for each eye.
Sights better with glasses than contacts as i have a slight astigmatism in one eye
that is a pretty strong prescription

wear glasses most of the time, i can see without them but i struggle read things from a distance without them, i can actually see better with contact lense, tho i can only year them for a certain amount of time as they sufficate my eyes

specs here, about 5 years ago i could get away with not wearing them out and on the pc, but now i cant see fck all without them on
My prescription i just dug out and it says.........
R SPH -5.00 AXIS 45
L SPH -4.75 AXIS 75
Does that mean anything? im thinking minus is short sight and + is long sight?

Mine are -3.25 in both eyes. Always wondered what the scale went up to. But yea, the - is short, and the + is long sighted

Not many + people about then ??
As for lenses, same as Stu 24/7 for 1 month.
Not a single problem once I had found the correct manufacturer. Cant feel a thing.
That took 6 months of visits to the opticians though with items being imported from everywhere.
Always had 20/20 vision up until mid 30's then close up things started to get blurey. Got to a point where I couldnt read the print in a newspaper so went and did something about it.
As for lenses, same as Stu 24/7 for 1 month.
Not a single problem once I had found the correct manufacturer. Cant feel a thing.

i only have glasses now, and i havent used lenses for a couple of years, because i was supposed to take a laser operation.
but gone get me some new lenses next week actually
